Vršič mountain pass, Trenta valley, Golica – mountain areas, which are strongly affected by work of Jesenice Mountain club enthusiasts. Surrounded by mighty mountains or flourished meadows, you can find mountain huts, which are run by Jesenice mountaineers. 

»Erjavčeva koča, Tičarjev dom, Koča pri izviru Soče, Zavetišče pod Špičkom and Koča na Golici« as they are originaly named, provide settlement to mountaineers, who seek refreshment, food or shelter. 

During winter, you can visit Golica hut and Erjavceva hut. Golica hut is only open on weekends and holidays, weather permitting. 

Soca hut is finally close to reopening after renovation. At the moment we are still waiting for the permits and reservations are not yet possible.
